THE NEW PORT IN TOURLOS BAY

In order to meet the increasing needs in port facilities, it was decided to construct a new port in Tourlos bay.

The works that were carried out in Tourlos bay, Mykonos island are the following:

Construction of an artificial island of berth for cruise ships and car ferries	Island of berth	Construction of quay walls behind the berth island (Marina)	Marina

Construction of a bridge for the connection of the island with the coast.	Connection bridge	Construction of Breakwater Head C (in the western part of the project)	Breakwater Head C
Architectural modulations of the superstructure of both the artificial island and the access bridge	Architectural appearance	The project is expected to be finished in the future, upon completion the subsequent two phases (B and C)
