SELECTION OF NUMBER OF BERTHS

The optimum economic and technical solution regarding the number of berths was the following:
  • 3 available independent functional berths for simultaneous stern-moored car ferries
  • 2 available independent functional berths for simultaneous side-moored cruise ships
  • Prediction for at least one additional stern-moored car ferry, in addition to two side-moored cruise ships

The final design of the project (7 ramps are scheduled altogether) allows for the simultaneous use of the available quay walls by 4 or possibly 5 car ferries.
