The hydraulic study involves:

  1. The calculation of incident waves.
  2. The calculation of the maximum allowable incident waves and excess frequency.
  3. The selection of the type of quay wall.
It must be noted that the data presented here refer to distributions on annual and monthly bases during the months of June - September, when there is an increased traffic at the port of Mykonos.
Due to the port's location, the project is hit by waves moving in N, NW, W, and SW directions.
