The calculations referred to the N, NW, and W directions,
where the project is mainly hit. The design of the project will consider
the data derived from Naxos
station. Waves coming from the SW and S directions do not hit the area
of the works, due to the fact that Delos and Rinia islands are at a close
distance from the southwest coasts of Mykonos.
For the calculation of the active development, 15 rays covering an area
of 84 degrees were drawn.
As for the N wind, in particular, it is necessary to calculate the diffraction
factor using the method of random disturbance of the sea according to Goda,
due to the presence of land from Armenistis cape to the location of the
works in Tourlos bay.
