The construction of the breakwater head adopted the same method as the mode of construction of landfills behind the berth quay walls.
The core was silted by trucks up to the point that exceeds the average water level.
Then, with the help of a floating crane, the shielding elements were placed. An experienced operator placed the shielding elements very carefully, so that the stones could bind well together and form a flat surface as good as possible (for reasons of aesthetics and stability).
