QUAY-WALL SUPERSTRUCTURE EQUIPMENT IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE ARTIFICIAL ISLAND

Quay walls profiles

The equipment will include:

Mooring rings per 2 piles of artificial blocks (per 5.0 metres)
4 bollards with 15 t tensile force at A-14, A-18, A-27 and A-28 positions
3 PVC pipes, Ö80 in diameter, running over the whole length of the superstructure for future water supply, electricity and telephone lines
Ö100 PVC pipes placed transversely at the quay-wall front for future connection with a storm-water flow-off network
Reception wells per 15-m pipeline and, additionally, wherever there is a change of direction

Use of marinas quay walls

Their formation consists of parts of quay walls of unequal length, so as to form:

  1. Cavities for the mooring of crafts.
  2. A quay wall for the disembarkation of passengers from boats
  3. An area for building facilities.
